About Us

Our Vision

The concept behind Former Glory is to keep memories alive. Just like a photo album, but with vintage motorcycles instead of pictures. We believe that vintage bikes are timeless. It’s about the joy of seeing a 70 year old bike, that looks like it just left the factory. Or reviving them to the exact wishes of every individual. The love we feel for them is real, as is the gift of being able to feel as exited as a child again, when you drive one. We want to restore, sell, and repair vintage bikes. With the love, energy and attention to detail that an old bike deserves.

We strive to improve every day, taking on the specialized work that others won’t.

We want to give you the bike of your dreams
The bike you deserve.

Nikolaj De Araujo Grønberg - Founder and Lead Mechanic

Former Glory is built around my passion for motorcycles, engineering, and hands-on problem solving. I am currently studying Technology Management and Marine Engineering, with a strong interest in both mechanical and electrical engineering, an approach that naturally influences my work.

Alongside Former Glory, I have received funding for a research project focused on improving fuel economy in older engines, and I won Demant’s Mechanical Engineering case in the AudioExplorers 2026 competition for developing the best solution to their mechanical engineering challenge.

Through multiple restorations, CAD, prototyping, troubleshooting, and practical mechanical work, I have gained broad experience in solving both mechanical and electrical problems. My goal is to keep old vehicles on the road while respecting the character and history of each machine.
