Georg and I met at a friend’s party back in 2023. Georg had heard from one of the guys that I was a motorcycle mechanic, and we quickly struck up a conversation about a CB 650 from 1980 that he had sitting in his garage. It was a project he had started with a friend, but unfortunately, it had come to a halt. After a lot of talk about dreams and cool ideas for a cafe racer, we decided that we would completely rebuild it to match Georgs vision, a design very similar to something I’d build for myself. We’re talking a fuel tank in British racing green, gold pinstriping, a custom seat with diamond stitching in brown leather with matching grips, champagne colored wheels, and as minimalist a wiring system as possible, without compromising safety or functionality.
